Hypertension and Hypertensive Disorder
Overview
RPM 232 - Hypertension and hypertensive disorders both involve elevated blood pressure levels which can indicate a number of chronic, serious underlying diseases. You will learn about such disorders and the monitoring of patient with RPM disease management programs.
Upon completion of the badge, the trainee will be able to:
- Define Hypertension and Hypertensive Disorders
- Common Causes/Risk Factors
- Symptoms of Hypertension/Hypertensive Disorders
- Categorize the drugs used for Hypertension/Hypertensive Disorder
- Educate the patient about Hypertension/Disorders
- Monitor the patient with RPM
- Be able to communicate with health team about the disease management program
