Overview

RPM 105 - This course is a brief introduction to Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) and the importance of RPM within the healthcare system. Trainees will learn the basic parts of remote patient monitoring as a system of patient service.

By the end of this course, you will be able to

  1. analyze the context of healthcare today and how remote patient monitoring plays a key role;  
  2. explain the basics parts of remote patient monitoring;  
  3. explain in simple terms how remote patient monitoring works;
  4. name each of the common devices used for remote patient monitoring (for chronic illness monitoring); and
  5. describe the functions of each.
