Train Patients on Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM)
Overview
RPM 120 - This course provides direct care workers with the skills and knowledge needed to educate patients on RPM, including how it works, how to use the devices, and how to troubleshoot common issues. The course also covers effective communication strategies when training patients, taking into account factors such as age, cultural differences, and others.
By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
- understand the importance of educating patients on RPM and the benefits it can provide;
- identify the steps involved in training patients on RPM, including setting up devices and troubleshooting common issues;
- develop effective communication strategies for training patients on RPM, taking into account factors such as age, cultural differences, and others; and
- identify common challenges faced by direct care workers when training patients on RPM and develop strategies for addressing them.
