Cirrhosis
Overview
RPM 230 - This course will give you an overview of Cirrhosis, a chronic illness prevalent amongst the elderly. You will learn to educate the patient about symptoms, monitor their vitals, and use RPM with a built-in disease management program.
Trainees will be able to work with clients who have Cirrhosis and use RPM for monitoring. At the end of the badge, trainees will be able to do the following:
- Define Cirrhosis
- Explain the basic diagnosis/symptoms of Cirrhosis
- Explain the risk assessment of Cirrhosis
- Be able to monitor a patient with Cirrhosis
- Be able to educate a patient about their Cirrhosis
- Evaluate a health chart of a patient with Cirrhosis
- Be able to enter data into RPM for monitoring a patient with Cirrhosis (with DMP)
- Be able to evaluate DMP data of a patient with Cirrhosis (at critical junctions)
